Red Beard Plumbing is a family owned and operated business founded in 2018 by Gareth & Brooke Mays, we are a dynamic and innovative local business servicing the Gold Coast, Tweed and Logan areas.
Our unique business can offer the best of both worlds with upfront fixed pricing on all standard domestic and commercial maintenance jobs or our competitive hourly rate for those larger renovations and new builds.
Gareth has over 20 years’ experience in the plumbing industry, starting part-time in 1996-97 working as a labourer in a family business Gareth worked his way up from Apprentice to Plumbing Supervisor to Operations & Service Manager finally leaving and establishing Red Beard Plumbing in 2018.
Gareth has worked all over Australia, New Zealand, Canada and parts of Asia, also undertaking some service training in the United States to gain further experience and skills in which we are happy to showcase when attending your property.

Firstly, I just want to thank Red Beard Plumbing for their fast and professional service. I am currently dealing with so many trades people at the moment and red beard has been the best by far.I want to thank the you man whom came and actually did the job (replacing my Gas/water system) in my backyard. Working very hard by himself , very professional and hard working. The job was done within 4 hrs and with all my other nightmares at house currently (Due to Cyclone Alfred) this was one area I did not have to worry about as great communication, fantastic service and reliable. Great communication, cost (very reasonable) but the job got completed with No Fuss and No issues.. thank you

Red Beard Plumbing conducted a ctv camera look at our underground sewerage and storm water pipes. They conducted a pressure test and reviewed the hot water system. They were efficient, thorough, and communicated their findings clearly.The work was carried out in the morning andwe had in hand findings and a quote clearly outlining the work to be done by 4pm the same day.Thanks!Red Beard Plumbing undertook drainage works in our backyard. It was a muddy mess before these works now it is draining well. Good communication, courtesy and cleaning up after themselves are additional stand outs for this business!

This company is professional and capable and pays attention to detail. The only thing that made me a little sad was not meeting Red Beard himself - I wanted to see the beard! Excellent service to install cooktop. I had called 2 companies prior and was told up to 2 week wait. Daniel assured me either today, tomorrow or definitely Friday morning. Needed an old vanity replaced with a new one after a hose burst and a couple of mixers replaced and a valve replaced on my hot water system. After previously being stuffed around by 2 other plumbers for weeks on end and they eventually just didn’t bother turning up, it was great to get a quote and the job completed a week later. Very reasonable prices and great work. Good communication too. Highly recommend Red Beard plumbing. Can’t speak highly enough of them.

Called on Friday afternoon before long weekend and requested soonest. The new tank and fixtures arrived at 0730 Tuesday. Installers around 9 am and work finished and cleaned up in less than 4 hours. They were knowledgable and tidy. I recommend this company but hope I don't need another tank soon. Cheers
